Galatasaray have reportedly turn their attentions to Arsenal midfielder Jorginho after failing to secure Manchester United’s Casemiro.
The Turkish club are still keen to sign new players before the league’s transfer window closes on Friday the 13th. Galatasaray were initially keen on Casemiro on loan, however the Brazilian midfielder turned down the opportunity as he wanted to stay with the Red Devils.
Now, Galatasaray have change their targets, with The Sun reporting that they are considering a move for Jorginho.
The Italian has unused substitute for the Gunners’ first three Premier League games and has just one year remaining on his contract.
However, despite his limited playing time, Arsenal are keen to keep hold of the 32-year-old and will reject offers.
Jorginho’s experience has made him an important part of Mikel Arteta’s side and the midfielder could be ready to make his first start of the season after the international break.
